As you may know, I started my Art Career via Instagram in March 2020, I had just finished an evening course in Acrylic Paint and at the time working as a Product Developer for a high end fashion brand. Instagram was the catalyst for me leaving a career I wasn’t happy in and embarking on a different life.

In a digital era, we as artists are no longer only confined to traditional galleries, we are now able to carve out our own careers and reach many customers through Instagram. I found the platform a powerful stage and I love the way it is allowing a new generation of artists to share their work, connect globally and redefine the art scene. That being said, I believe traditional methods of being represented in a gallery will never truly by taken over, but instead modern methods of social media can work to compliment the traditional methods.
